Anhydrous Ammonia

Many industries use versatile gas ammonia (NH3), including agriculture, refrigeration, and chemical manufacturing, because of its unique properties. Ammonia is also commonly used in metal processing for heat treatment processeslike nitriding and bright annealing, as a reducing agent in green steel production by breaking down into hydrogen, and in selective metal extraction (leaching) of metals like nickel and cobalt. It also serves as a protective atmosphere for brazing, sintering, and glass-to-metal seals.
